Program Philosophy

 

Building Blocks believes all children need a nurturing, safe and healthy environment to grow and develop.  We provide that environment for children 2 months to 12 years of age.  Children who attend Building Blocks will have the opportunity to grow in an environment that provides a well rounded daily routine and promotes and stimulates physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.  We believe children learn best through well planned developmentally appropriate practices which include a balance of child initiated and staff oriented activities.

The Deborah Kaplan Building is located AA Kingston Middle School

Potsdam Building Blocks Day Care is a quality child care program offering services to children 8 weeks to 12 years of age.  We are licensed to provide services for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children.
